Even though a Bitcoin hard fork took place in August, two more are happening over the next month.
The Bitcoin Gold hard fork is happening today (Monday), while the SegWit2x hard fork is expected Nov. 18. Both will create new, alternative versions of Bitcoin. And anyone who owns Bitcoin already will automatically receive an equal amount of these forked coins for free.
But there are a lot of risks as well.
