It's becoming increasingly clear that Coinbase will be the first Bitcoin stock.
The cryptocurrency wallet and exchange company recently landed $100 million in Series D venture capital. That brings the total invested in Coinbase to $217.2 million - the most of any Bitcoin startup.
But that's not the only reason Coinbase is a near-lock to become the first Bitcoin IPO.
